Farms under the Veterans Affairs Council failed to properly dispose of industrial waste and apply pesticides following regulations. The National Audit Office urged corrective actions, and the relevant entities have reviewed the issues and taken measures to ensure compliance.
The Fushoushan and Wuling Farms are located in water quality and quantity protection area, engaged in agricultural production, marketing and tourism. NAO found that the farms had removed and disposed of business waste without authorization and had applied pesticides without following regulations.
