The Urban Development Bureau of Taichung City Government (referred to as the Urban Development Bureau) has conducted building public safety inspections. After an audit conducted by the Taichung City Audit Division, it was found that the Urban Development Bureau didn’t include the boarding houses with a total floor area of over 500 square meters, which were managed by the Fire Department of Taichung City Government, in the list of buildings that should be declared for public safety inspections. After the Taichung City Audit Division informed, the Urban Development Bureau assisted boarding house operators in completing declaration or imposed penalties in order to implement the building public safety management system and ensure the safety of the public’s accommodation.
The Civil Affairs Office of Fuxing District and the Department of Indigenous Affairs of the Taoyuan City planned to construct an access road of Blhuy (Zhentoushan) Tribe. However, the Taoyuan City Audit Division found out that the project planning and other preliminary work did not implement properly and thus unable to start the construction after more than 12 years, causing the project goal continued to be delayed. The Control Yuan proposed corrective measures to the Taoyuan City Government after the case was reported.

After an audit conducted by the New Taipei City Audit Division, it was found that pedestrian arcade included in 2021 leveling project failed to implement due to the public’s disagreement. After the New Taipei City Audit Division informed, the Maintenance Office adjusted communication pattern of public hearing, completed 45 cases of pedestrian arcade leveling with the total length of leveling over 1,000 meters, and enhance the effectiveness of the pedestrian arcade leveling project.
