The Education Department and the Culture and Tourism Bureau of the Chiayi County Government carried out the construction program for the second park “Tropic of Cancer” of the Solar Exploration Center, a space science education center. The Chiayi County Audit Office conducted an audit and found that the use license for the center was not obtained after completing the center for eleven months since the inspection results of fire safety equipment were against the regulations. As a result, the exhibition equipment and interior renovation were not able to be placed on the site, delaying the opening and operation schedule. After the office called for improvements, the use license was obtained, the acceptance was completed, and the center was open for a trial operation, providing the public with a better place for space and natural science education.
In order to provide the public with multiple and convenient digital public services, the Taichung City Government planned to build a smart citizen platform. The Taichung City Audit Division conducted an audit and found that the smart citizen platform was completed in 2018 and had not been open for the public as of September 2020. After the division called for improvements, the platform was transformed to use for the Taichung digital citizen card, open to the public for online use, optimized for functions, and expanded for service items to provide more convenient services for the public.
The Yunlin County Audit Office conducted an audit on two construction procurements handled by the Yunlin County Government, including the Yunlin Gouba Organic Agriculture Park, and found that the government did not levy penalties on the manufacturers involved in violation of the Government Procurement Law in accordance with the court's verdict. After the office called for improvements, the government recovered the bid bond and listed the manufacturers on the Government Procurement Gazette as debarred suppliers, so as to maintain the procurement order.
