The Tainan City government set up 3,152 WiFi hotspots to provide the public with a high quality internet access environment. After the Tainan City Audit Division conducted an audit and found that the government did not integrate login platforms of various WiFi hotspot systems and incompletely disclosed the information of smart bus stops with WiFi hotspots. Furthermore, some systems were out of order, impairing the convenience of application by the public. After the division called for improvements, the government launched a shared login portal as an interface for various login systems, released relevant information on its website, and repaired the broken systems to fully accomplish effectiveness of facilities and improve the convenience of application.

In order to develop the disaster prevention and response capability for schoolchildren and citizens, the Fire Department of the Taoyuan City Government established the Taoyuan Disaster Education Center and launched the operation on September 29, 2018. After the Taoyuan City Audit Division conducted an audit and found that some facilities of the center such as the international conference hall and so on did not open for the public and only used for internal meetings or trainings. After the division called for improvements, the department released a standard for charging to improve the effectiveness of facility application.

Townships of the Changhua County Government are responsible for implementing disaster prevention and rescue operations. After the Changhua County Audit Office conducted an audit and found that part of the townships did not review the safety of shelters and implement drainage facility management. After the office called for improvements, the townships reviewed and changed locations of unsafe shelters to enhance measures and facilities for disaster prevention and complete the related regulations.
