The Social Welfare Department of the New Taipei City Government is responsible for supervising and managing activities of charity fundraising. However, the regulations on the frequency of public credit checking were different from those of the central government, and part of the fundraising groups' revenue, expenditure and activity results were not applied for reference and publicly disclosed. After the New Taipei City Audit Division urged for an improvement, the regulations have been revised, and those groups' operating results have been publicized to achieve the purpose of public credit checking.


The National Chiao Tung University completed the construction of Biomedical Engineering Building in 2017, but the acceptance of work was not conducted after more than one year, affecting the subsequent use of the building. After the audit division called for improvements, the process of acceptance has been completed and the building has been transferred to the College of Biotechnology for teaching, which can help promote domestic biomedical research capabilities.


Some hospitals affiliated to the Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) were not included in the community medical groups of“ The National Health Insurance in Home-based Medical Care Program”and“Family Physician Integrated Care Plan”. After the NAO urged for improvements, each MOHW affiliated hospital has self-examined its service capacity and participated in the related plans, deepening the role in community medical services.
