The President of the Supreme Court of Accounts of the Republic of Honduras, Mr. Ricardo Rodriguez, and his wife visited Taiwan from October 21 to October 27 at the invitation of the National Audit Office (NAO). In the morning of October 22, the Auditor General Dr. Lin awarded Mr. Rodriguez the First Grade Medal of Professionalism of Audit in recognition of his outstanding contributions in promoting international audit professional interactions. During their visit to the NAO Training Center in the afternoon, an auditor from the New Taipei City Audit Division gave a presentation of “NAO 90, Exploring New Ways” to the guests, and Mr. Rodriguez then gave a presentation of “Complete Strategy 2017-2023: The Audit From A New Perspective” to share the experiences of innovative activities promoted by the Supreme Court of Accounts in recent years. During the visit in Taiwan, Mr. and Mrs. Rodriguez also visited the Control Yuan, the Investigation Bureau of Ministry of Justice, the Kinmen County Audit Office, and the Yilan County Audit Office to promote mutual understanding and advance interaction and cooperation.
