The Audit Division on Construction and Communication found out that part of the aviation safety inspectors hired by the Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA) for flight security supervision and inspections received the payment of inspecting operation hourly fee without going on-site inspections or being not eligible, so that there was a doubt that the payment did not conform to the Executive Yuan’s regulations. After the division called for improvements, CAA revised the related payment regulations and set up clear specifications.
The National Audit Office (NAO) found out that there were vendors importing industrial undenatured alcohol illegally to evade taxes for liquor production. Because the regulation system of the industrial undenatured alcohol is incomplete, the NAO called the Ministry of Finance (MOF) for improvements, the MOF has already consulted the related competent authorities and stipulated the related systems for strengthening flow direction control and examining and tracking to avoid illegal matters such as tax evasion and transfer.

The FSC has modified and issued supervisory regulations in succession, asking financial institutions to establish dedicated information security units and supervisors that are in charge of planning, supervising and implementing the management of information security in order to effectively elevate the capacity of protecting information safety.
