In order to help the public understand performance auditing, the National Audit Office (NAO) organized the "Performance Audit and Public Accountability Seminar" and the "Performance Audit and Public Governance Practice Forum" in 2018 Annual Conference and Academic Symposium of Taiwan Association for Schools of Public Administration and Affairs (TASPAA). The event was held on June 2 at the Waishuanghsi Campus of Soochow University. In addition to 4 papers published in the seminar, the NAO invited important roles from governments and academia as chairs, moderators, commentators, and discussants. More than 70 participants attended the seminar and forum, which effectively promoted communications between the NAO and the public on performance auditing issues.
