The Taiwan Power Company conducted the procurement of variable frequency cable withstanding voltage test equipment. After an audit conducted by the National Audit Office, it was found that the procurement process was delayed and the Taiwan Power Company changed contract awarding target twice without carefully assessing the appropriateness and impact of revoking the award of contract. Furthermore, the Taiwan Power Company failed to promptly supervise and track the supplier’s implementation progress during the contract performance stage, which combined with all the factors above, contributed to the postponement of the start-up date of purchased equipment. After the National Audit Office informed the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Taiwan Power Company had already reviewed the crux of the matter of procurement postponing. In addition, the Taiwan Power Company had informed its subordinate agencies that if they encounter any doubts about the procurement contract awarding they should contact with various parties, consult the Company's window on the Government Procurement Act, and regularly track the performance of the contractors to avoid the recurrence of such situations.


The Environmental Protection Department of New Taipei City Government conducted the motorcycle air pollutants emission regular testing (referred to as the regular testing). After an audit conducted by the New Taipei City Audit Division, it was found that the rate of regular testing of motorcycles registered in New Taipei City that have been ex-factory for 5 years or more is lower than the nationwide average. Furthermore, the motorcycles under management of the New Taipei City government agencies had been conducted air pollutants emission testing regularly, which affects air quality. After the New Taipei City Audit Division informed, the regular testing rate of air pollutants emission of motorcycles registered in New Taipei City and those managed by government agencies has been significantly improved.


The Civil Aviation Administration(CAA) charges airport service fee to passengers departing on international flights in order to enhance services and facilities at airports. After an audit conducted by the Audit Division on Construction & Communication, it was found that the airport service fee was only charged to passengers departing on international flights, but not also to passengers transferring and transiting on international flights. After the Audit Division on Construction & Communication informed CAA, regulations and standards regarding charging airport service fee to passengers transferring and transiting on international flights are established in order to keep optimizing airport facilities and passenger service quality.
