The Chiayi County Lucao Township Office and Dongshih Township Office are responsible for managing public lands under its jurisdiction. The Chiayi County Audit Office conducted an audit and found that due to the failure to implement land inspection and management, some of the public lands had been occupied and were not yet properly dealt with. After the office called for improvements, the township offices negotiated with the occupiers to remove buildings on the occupied lands or recover the compensation of occupancy from the occupiers, and will strengthen land inspection and management afterward to protect the rights of public property.

In order to support the incubation of startup companies set up by the youth, the Youth Bureau, Kaohsiung City Government planned to build up the sixth youth entrepreneurial base in Kaohsiung city. The Kaohsiung City Audit Division conducted an audit and found that due to insufficient budget, the youth entrepreneurial base which was originally planned to be built by the bureau was behind schedule. After the division called for improvements, the bureau re-selected the site and completed the base in May 2011, providing a professional environment, nurturing young talents in digital marketing, and improving the effectiveness of programs for guiding the youth to start business and incubating new startup companies.

For the purpose of developing the region where the administrative offices of the Chiayi County Government located, the government conducted the first phase regional expansion and development program. The Chiayi County Audit Office conducted an audit on the relocation subsequently after expropriation of land improvements (graves) in the Eighth Public Cemetery of Taibao City and found that the land improvements were not yet relocated after expropriation, affecting the schedule of subsequent sale through tendering. After the office called for improvements, the land improvements were relocated and some of the lands were sold out through tendering, which increased the revenue of more than NT$139 million.
