The Finance and Taxation Bureau of the Chiayi City Government conducted taxation operations of the house tax and the land value tax. After the Chiayi City Audit Office conducted an audit and found that the assessments of some taxation cases were not based on actual usage of the property. After the office called for improvements, the bureau enhanced the correction of tax information or revised the assessment and collected more than NT$5.66 million supplementary tax, so as to maintain equity in taxation.

The Hsinchu City Government carried out a public construction project of the sewage piping system. After the Hsinchu City Audit Office conducted an audit and found that the Water Resource Recycling Center, part of the construction project, was completed and ran the operation for many years, but the government had not made public announcement for drainage areas of the system. After the office called for improvements, the government announced drainage areas, facilitating the increase of sewage pipe connection percentage.

The Local Tax Bureau of the Hsinchu City Government conducted taxation operations of the land value tax and the house tax. After the office called for improvements, the bureau corrected tax information and collected more than NT$3.49 million supplementary land value tax and house tax, so as to maintain control of sources of tax revenue and equity in taxation.
