The Penghu County Government spent money to rebuild facilities in the Chu-Kuang New Village. According to the audit conducted by the Penghu County Audit Office, the facilities in the Chu-Kuang New Village were idle for many years after completion. After a written request for improvements, the operation and management of facilities were entrusted to the private sector, and hotel services were provided. Until the end of December 2020, the number of hotel occupancy reached 8,280, and revenue from royalties and land rent was over NT$4.34 million, which brought the benefits of asset utilization into full play.

The Railway Bureau, MOTC developed a guideline for procurement of the light rail system, and the Audit Division on Construction of Transportation & Communication found that the original deadline for completion was exceeded, affecting the consistency of government’s integrated key specifications for the rail system and objectives of expanding the economic scale of component production. After the division asked for improvements, a guideline for procurement of the light rail system (mechanical and electrical systems and rail engineering) was formulated to enhance the opportunities and willingness of domestic manufacturers to participate in rail construction.

The Department of Transportation of the Taoyuan City Government built a new bus waiting facility with an advertisement board. The Taoyuan City Audit Division found that the content of advertisements is limited to government affairs and public welfare, and advertisements unrelated to public welfare were not included, failing to create revenue for the city accordingly. After the division asked for improvements, an autonomous regulation on the management of advertisements was amended, facilitating the management of commercial advertisements and increasing the revenue of the city.
