The Taichung City Audit Division carried out an audit on the construction and operational management of the Buzi Water Resources Recycling Center conducted by the Water Resources Bureau of the Taichung City Government and found that because the amount of wastewater was below expectation, the relevant equipment was idle, failing to perform effectively. After the division called for improvements, the bureau continued to build connections of sewage sewer for users and improve the efficiency of facilities.

The Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Hualien County Government received an approval from the Ministry of Education to subsidize a plan of purchasing information technology (IT) equipment such as computers for making use of public libraries as community public information stations. The Hualien County Audit Office carried out an audit on the plan and found that most of the new IT equipment purchased was not yet available to the public in accordance with the plan. After the office called for improvements, the equipment was installed in computer labs and available to the public.

The Yilan County Government coordinated with the Ministry of Finance to promote a fiscal plan and developed various measures to increase revenue and reduce expenses. The Yilan County Audit Office carried out an audit on the measures and found that performances of their implementations from 2017 to 2019 were poor, and the evaluation results showed a trend of descending annually in the national ranking. After the office called for improvements, the government promoted a series of new measures to effectively increase financial resources and save expenses.
