The Taoyuan City Audit Division found out that the Department of Public Works of the Taoyuan City Government did not elaborate the necessity of a road widening plan to local residents when it conducted the plan, resulting in a delay in the acquisition of lands and demolition of the affiliated things on lands. Thus proposed schedule of completion was postponed. After the division called for improvements, the department completed the road widening construction and affiliated facilities such as sidewalks, and they were available to the public in order to provide the public with convenient transportation network and accessible walking environment.
The New Taipei City Audit Division found out that the New Taipei City Police Department did not designate focal points for duty planning and ticket issuing when it conducted road-obstacle cleaning work, resulting in inconsistent execution between different bureaus. After the division called for improvements, the department set up an implementation plan for road-obstacle cleaning work and noticed all affiliated bureaus to enhance the implementation and include cleaning work in their routine to assure the right of pedestrians.
The Taipei City Audit Division found out that the Department of Social Welfare of the Taipei City Government did not provide the user with friendly interface and mobile web pages when it built up a platform called Welfare and Health Map of the Taipei City. After the division called for improvements, the department modified operational interface of the platform, expanded the map by adding “theme map”, launched a responsive mobile web pages, and updated related information timely to manifest the benefits of the platform.
