The 2017 International Auditor Conference was held from April 24 to May 5, and 21 auditors from many countries joined together for a two-week conference. During the two-week conference, all participants attended sessions that included introduction to the government auditing system and two topics on government procurement auditing and GIS auditing. They also made official visits and visits to experience the culture and customs of Taiwan. On behalf of all participants, the vice-representative, Ms. Varela, expressed her gratitude to the National Audit Office in the closing ceremony for the opportunities to learn the history and culture of Taiwan, to enjoy the delicious food, and, most important of all, to share auditing experiences and practices at the conference. The participants from different countries will share their experiences in Taiwan with their colleagues. At the end of the ceremony, the General-Auditor, Mr. Lin, awarded certificates to all participants and had photos taken with them. Saying goodbye to each other was the hardest part.
